MARY ROSS August 1, 1916 February 22, 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mom and grandmother, Mary Ross (Sumner) of Dauphin River, Manitoba on February 22, 2008 at the age of 91 years. Mary leaves to mourn, her sons, Oliver (Mary-Ann), Allan (Barb), Clifford (Lorna), Stanford and Freeman (Muriel); her daughters, Christine, Edith (Marcel) of B. C. and Lorna (John); her sister Frances Thomas; favorite nieces and nephews, Lydia, Bertha, Louie (Cynthia) and Ozzie (Lorie); special friend, Mary Stagg; special grandsons, Darren Marsden and Russell Ross of BC; 33 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Charlie; five children and four grandchildren. Mary was a very dear mother, who had a big heart for everyone, family and friends alike. She lived all her life in Dauphin River and as a midwife, she delivered over 70 children. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Wake services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 and on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. each evening. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. All services will be held at the Dauphin River Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Alex Anderson and Jim Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at the Dauphin River Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Fisher River Personal Care Home and Percy E.
