Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH GORMAN Our dear mother Elizabeth passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Selkirk General Hospital with her daughter by her side. Elizabeth was born to George and Madeline (Boschee) Seitz, May 16, 1926, on the family ranch near Medicine Hat, Alberta, the youngest daughter in a family of 13 children. She married Edward Gorman in July 1946 and moved to the family farm at Balmoral where they lived for more than 25 years. Left to mourn are her children Sandra (William) McKnight of Selkirk and Kenneth Gorman of Deer Lodge Centre and his friend Lilia of Winnipeg, sisters Ann and Viola, brothers Ted, Jack and Larry, sisters-in-law Cora and Adele, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, sisters Esther and Alice, and brothers Dave, Fred, Art, Reiny and Bill. Mom will be fondly remembered for her passion for gardening, loving disposition, strong work ethic, offbeat sense of humor and in later years the Aunty Summits in Medicine Hat. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 1 at the Worship Centre at Deer Lodge, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place with a private interment to be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
