Predeceased by her parents Beth and Walter Eggertson. June lived through the Depression, the Second World War, 1950 Flood, 1966 Blizzard and with Linc, raised four children, Paul, Bruce, Grant and Sheila, residing in Fort Garry. June started working at Great West Life on Lombard and finished as a city employee at Fort Garry Library. June learned golf from her time living with Linc in Amherst, NS in the late 1940s and then became very involved with the Roarin' Game through Linc, and his Johnson- Strathcona family, her sons and finally by joining the Wildewood Club Ladies Curling - famous for her high hard ones! Mom enjoyed with pride watching her two grandchildren, Chase and Michelle develop wonderfully, and recently was presented with a great-granddaughter, Jordyn, in 2007. Mom spent the past four years peacefully as a resident of Tuxedo Villa and the family would like to express our appreciation of the kind and gentle care she personally received from all the Staff at Station 3.
