June was a wonderful person. Everyone that knew her loved her. June loved to be with family and friends at the beach cottage. She came from a very loving and musical family and loved to sing with family and friends at family get togethers and holidays. She had a very beautiful voice. June was born in Bangor, Saskatchewan and was raised in Winnipeg. Her greatest accomplishment was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Legacy of love A wife, a mother, and a grandma too, this is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another. Not just as a wife not just as mother. For all of us you gave your best, now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep, your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep. The family would like to thank Dr. Vereli, the nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the loving care they gave her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada at 55 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB.
