DOROTHY MARIE VIDAL (nee TIBBATTS) June 26, 1926 - February 25, 2008 Dorothy, at the age of 81, passed away peacefully, early Monday morning at Victoria Hospital. Dorothy was born and raised on a farm with a sister and two brothers near Foxwarren, MB. After finishing school in Foxwarren in 1944, she attended Business College in Winnipeg and worked as a typist for Wiggins System. In 1950 Dorothy married William Vidal of Winnipeg, and they raised their four children. She taught Sunday school, Girl Guides and volunteered with special needs children. She loved to read, and enjoyed knitting, latch hook, gardening and family. Mom had a very kind soul and was easy going, loving and thoughtful. She always put others before herself. Mom was predeceased by her husband, William Vidal (May 25, 2007), parents, Albert and Annie Tibbatts (nee McLeod) and younger brother Thomas (Tommy) Tibbatts. She will be greatly missed by her family, daughter Kathy (Denis Roy), grandchildren, Michelle, Mark; daughter Lorraine (Raymond Saurette), grandchildren, Jeanine, Danielle; daughter Pat (Billy Leung), grandchildren, Shaun, Kyle, Selina; and son Robert Vidal, grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road.
