GEORGE WIEBE KROEKER Peacefully, with his family by his side, George passed away at the age of 87 years at St. Boniface Hospital on February 25, 2008. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anne; sons, Darrell, James; daughter Lori (Brian); three grandchildren, Jared, Mikaela and Justin; brothers, Neil in Vancouver, John in Ottawa; sister Judy in San Francisco, CA; many nieces and nephews. George was born and raised in Steinbach, MB. He was in partnership with his brother Ike, owned the Texaco Oil Agency under the name CT Kroeker and Sons. In his later years he lived and did business in Nestor Falls, ON, and Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by his father and mother, CT and Judith Kroeker; two sisters, Angie and Lil; three brothers, Aaron, Jacob and Ike. George's wonderful storytelling and great sense of humour are irreplaceable to us. His love for his family had no measure and we all deeply feel the loss of him. Goodbye George and Dad, and Godspeed.
