Suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Leonard Stanley Malach of Portage la Prairie, beloved husband of Nancy Malach (nee Barraball) passed away at the age of 70 years. A celebration of Len's life will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Len was born on November 16, 1937 in Regina, Saskatchewan, son of Zelma and Joseph Malach. He was raised and received his education in Broadview, Saskatchewan. He attended university in Regina, graduating in 1965 with a Bachelor of Pharmacy. Len loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved to coach sports. Predeceased by his parents, he leaves to mourn his passing his wife Nancy, son Michael, daughter Robin, grandchildren, extended family and many friends. Should friends so desire, donations in Len's name may be made to Minor Sports in your community.
