Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND ORVILLE ANDERSON On Saturday, March 1, 2008 with his family by his side, Raymond Anderson, aged 74 years of Grand Marais, MB. Raymond was predeceased by his wife Lorena, son Darrell, parents William and Alice, sisters Ruth and Verna and mother and father-in-law George and Ada. He is survived by his children, Sheila (Wayne), Wayne, Kerri (Garth), Randal (Shirley), Shannon, Melanie and Cory (Roberta); 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers Arnold (Elsie) and Bill (Ilene); sisters Hazel (Don), Doris and Shirley (Dick) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Raymond started working in Grand Marais for CNR hauling freight before working 30 years for Manitoba Hydro all over the province. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cutting the grass, shoveling snow, gardening, watching sports on T.V. especially hockey; watching his kids curl, and also playing cards with his grandchildren and late night card games with his brothers and sisters. He used to enjoy spending time with his crew members at work. Raymond thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to the Annual Anderson Family Bonspiel, which his brother Bill organized every year. He had a great sense of humour and was always teasing and bugging everybody. Raymond loved the country life The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7 at 3:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Ken Pawluk officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
