MURIEL JOSEPHINE VINCENT March 5, 1921 - March 4, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt/cousin - Muriel Josephine Vincent at the Stonewall Hospital one day short of her 87th birthday. Muriel is survived by one sister Edith E. Vincent; cousins Helen (Jack) Campbell, Hazel Boland, and Helen Thompson, Yvonne (Ron) Whiting, Patty Pendleton; nephews Lloyd Grahame (Jr.), Lawrence Grahame, niece Jacqueline Maxted and her family. She is also lovingly remembered by numerous other cousins, family, and friends. Muriel was predeceased by her parents Erland E. and Susannah, one brother Edwin, numerous aunts and uncles, and very special cousins Howard and Lloyd. Muriel was born and raised in Stonewall, and attended Stonewall schools. Muriel worked for the Unemployment Insurance until she retired. Muriel was a past worthy matron of Aurora Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and was at the time of her death a member of the Jephthah Chapter No. 22 OES. Through Eastern Star she traveled extensively, and had many friends wherever she went. Muriel was a lifelong member of the Anglican Church of the Ascension in Stonewall. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Anglican Church of the Ascension in Stonewall. Interment will follow at the Stonewall Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations can be made to the Anglican Church of the Ascension in Stonewall, Box 550, Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0, or a charity of choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall is in care of arrangements.
