Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH HAROLD (ALLAN) DUMAS With his family by his side, Allan Dumas left us to be with his maker on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at the age of 76 years. He was born in Ochre River on October 20, 1931. Allan is survived by his children Bev (Jeff), Betty (Ferdi), Claudette, Joe (Darlene), Adelard, Eugene (Celia), Joshua. Allan was blessed with 41 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Allan is also survived by his brothers Lloyd, Felix, Freddy (Eva), and sister Sylvia Pavia (Jacob). Allan was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Lucy, his son Allan, parents Alfred and Mary, brothers Eugene and Omer, sisters, Gloria, Claudette, and Lucielle, in-laws Mabel (Moses) Bignell, Maria (William) Sayese, and Simon Lathlin. Dad was an Iron worker until his retirement. He was an avid hunter, trapper, and fisherman, and a good provider for his wife and children. Special thanks to grandson Mac, a loving caregiver for his Grandpa and Granny to the end. Wake service will be from 7:00 p.m. to midnight Thursday, March 6, 2008, from Prairieland Aboriginal Funeral Home, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg, Manitoba. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, also from the chapel of Prairieland Aboriginal Funeral Home, with Rev. Canon Murray Still officiating. Interment at a later date.
