BRUCE FREDERICK HAMILTON On Monday, March 3, 2008, Bruce F. Hamilton, loving husband of Margaret (Peggy) Hamilton died peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by his mother Edna Collette (nee Gibb). Bruce will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Peggy of 53 years, children; Dawn (Lindsay) Donnelly, Blair (Rae Anne), Gaylene, Karen (Jaime) and Bruce and grandchildren; Kyle, Lauren, Seamus, Rebeka, Matthew, Carlos, Hector and Gabriella. He will also be missed by his cousins Carol and Howard Johnston. Bruce was born in 1934 in St. Boniface where he grew up. He was a cattle buyer with Burns Brothers for 31 years. Bruce met and married the love of his life Peggy, in 1955. Together they had five children who were his greatest joy. The family moved to St. Vital in 1967 where they raised their family. Despite a hard life and recent health struggles, he will be remembered for his love of family, red boxes of raisins, love of football games, baking loaves that he shared with family and friends, love of bartering, talent for crossword puzzles, tender heart and tomatoes. The family wishes to thank Dr. R.B.W. Choptiany who made a special connection with Bruce. They also wish to thank the WRHA Home Care Nursing Staff, especially to Charlene who was so gentle. Thanks also to the medical team at the St. Boniface Hospital (5E). A private celebration of his life for his immediate family is being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Sleep peacefully my love. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
