RONALD ROBERT (RON) OFFER Peacefully on March 4, 2008 Ron passed away surrounded by his family. Left to mourn are his son Matthew, fiancée Patricia, her daughter Maureen, brother-in-law Murray, Aunt Alice and many cousins. Ron was predeceased by his sister Carol and his mother and father. Ron was in the printing business most of his life. He joined Willingford Press/Reid and Eibner in 1974 as a purchaser/estimator. In 1986 he moved over to Naylor Publications. He worked there to present day (22 years). He loved everything to do with printing and his knowledge was extensive of the industry. Printing was in his blood as his mother and father were also in the business. His many interests included playing basketball with his friends in his youth, and then with his son Matthew. His favourite team was the Celtics. He was knowledgeable about all kinds of music, old and new. He had an incredible memory, naming all the musicians in every group. He was well-read with a vast collection of literature, antiques, cars and art. His favourite saying was That's a classic. He was kind, gentle, a true gentleman, willing to help anyone above and beyond whenever he could. He had a great sense of humour and was so much fun to be with. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Thanks to CancerCare Manitoba, especially Dr. Laylec, Dr. Sisler and Deborah Scott. Donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
