Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD FRED JASTRAU February 1, 1936 March 6, 2008 Peacefully on March 6, 2008, Edward passed away at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by his parents, Anne and Ludwig Jastrau. Edward will be lovingly remembered by his sister Louise (Dan) Maydaniuk and his niece Kathy (Keith) Litke, Uncle Bill (Mary) Fedoruk, Uncle Paul (Beebe) Fedoruk, Auntie Stella Kupniski, and many cousins and friends. He grew up in Hodgson, Manitoba, where he worked in his parents Red and White Store as a butcher. Edward retired with his parents to Stonewall in 1975. He was an ardent sports fan and coached softball teams. He was an excellent curler and won many trophies. He enjoyed bowling, cards and watching sports on T.V. The family wishes to thank all the care workers that looked after Edward in Stonewall and all the staff at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their loving care. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Leonard Oracheski will officiate. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
