One year has passed that fateful day, when one cruel senseless act took you far, far away, sad and sudden was the call, So dearly loved by one and all, We only have the memory, When someone that you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure! There is a special Angel in Heaven that is a part of me, This is not what I would want for her, But where God thought that she should be. She was here for a brief moment, like a midnight shooting star, And though she is in Heaven, She is not very far, She touched the hearts of many, like Angels often do. We would have spent with her every moment, if the end we only knew. So we send this special message to Heaven up above, Please take care of our Angel, and send her all our love! - Love forever, Mom, Dad and Evan; Keith, Shaleen, Alexander and Ainslie. I am so sad to hear of Alyson's passing, so long after the fact. My sincerest sympathies to her family. She was a wonderful, kind friend when we were at McGill together. I have been missing her and trying to find her. I was so shocked to see this. She lives on in more hearts than you know. Please accept my condolences, so late, but still heartfelt. Alyson is so often in my thoughts. Such a lovely person to have met and worked with. I am thankful for having her in my life. It still hurts when I think of this day.
