Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHAWN MICHAEL SCIBERRAS May 29, 1979 March 11, 2008 Peacefully, Shawn passed away surrounded by family and close friends. Predeceased by his grandfather Elmer (Bud) and his Uncle Larry. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barb, daughter Ayva Marie, parents Donald and Valerie Sciberras, sister Wendy (Ian), Grandma Doris Hadaller, Grandparents Rose and Charles Sciberras, Barb's parents Margaret and Frank Reichardt, sisters-in-law Donna (Shawn) and Katherine, brothers-in-law Fred (Karen) and Bernie (Elaine), nieces and nephews Joshua, Logan, Christian, Austin, Bradley, Atlin, Amber, Brendan, Camryn, and Taliah, and many dear relatives and friends. Shawn was a selfless person who always thought of others before himself. He faced his illness with a positive outlook and without complaint; he will continue to be an inspiration beyond his death. Shawn exhibited a wisdom beyond his years, and will be fondly remembered for his zest for life, his wonderful sense of humour, his patient nature, and his innate kindness. Though it is difficult to let him go, we know his suffering has ended, there is no more pain, and he is now in Heaven. A service to celebrate Shawn's life will be held on Saturday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave Street (Handicapped parking at rear). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Transplant Manitoba - Gift of Life Program (Rm GE441-820 Sherbrook Street) or Siloam Mission. Special thanks to the staff of the Lung Transplant Program, and staff of H6, SICU, D4, A3, the Rehab Hospital and all the wonderful caregivers at Health Sciences Centre. We would also like to thank the ICU staff at University of Alberta Research Hospital in Edmonton. Forever loved and always in our hearts .

Dear Don,Val, Wendy & Doris, Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family at the loss of Shaun. We have often prayed for him during his illness and are grateful that now he is free from pain. May God comfort you and fill you with His peace. We are unable to be at the memorial service as we are in Mexico but our thoughts and prayers will be with you.
