LAVINA MARIE DUVAL Peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Betel Home, Selkirk, Lavina went to be with the Lord, holding her brother Alfred's hand. Lavina was born in Dana, SK in 1915, was married in Prince Albert, SK in 1936 and spent 52 years with her loving husband. She has gone to join her loving husband, Ludger; daughters Jacqueline and Patsy and Ma and Pa Coumont. She leaves surviving two sons Dominic (Bev) of Morson, Ont. and Dale (Linda) of Winnipeg; sister Isabel McMurchy; brothers Alfred (Virginia) and Wilfred; special grandsons Dale and Paul as well as grandchildren Shelley, Joey, Sonia and Johnny; numerous great-grandchildren; son-in-law Joe Braico; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Selkirk with Fr. Dado Parrenas officiating, assisted by Msgr. Louis McCloskey. Viewng at the church prior to service. Interment will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery, Winnipeg. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
