PAULINE DOROTHY BETSILL ( nee MIDDLEBROOK) We are sad to announce the passing of our beautiful Mom and best friend, Pauline, on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. Mom was born November 1, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Lindy on January 20, 2004. Three months after the Canadian nurse met the American sailor in San Francisco, they married and spent 51 glorious years together. They moved to British Columbia where they raised their three children. Mom has now joined Dad, her mother Dorothy, father Roy, sister Meta and twin brother Joseph. We know that Mom and Dad are finally together again getting caught up on current politics. We are sure Mom is trying to explain to Dad why she voted NDP. Left to remember all the wonderful memories is their son Tom; daughters, Melanie and Lee Ann (Peter), as well as their granddaughters, Jennifer, Taylor, Dayna, Emma, Jennifer Lee, and loving niece Dorothy and family. We thank Dr. Reimer for his care and all the staff on first floor that made Mom's stay as comfortable for her as possible. Mom and Dad's ashes will be joined together and will be buried in Vernon, BC where they spent their last years together. If you wish to make a donation, please do so to the Canadian Cancer Foundation. Your love was unconditional, we will miss you so very much GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery Hwy. #1 E. at Navin, (204) 222-3241 Life stories may be shared with friends and family across the globe at www.mem.com

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Mom, It is hard to believe it has been almost 8 years since I last held your hand. Hardly a day goes by that I don't think of you and Dad. I wish you had met William, he is really something else. Thank you for everything you did for us, taught us and for who you were. Love you always. xoxoxoxox - Posted by: Lee Ann (Daughter) on: Mar 03, 2016
