Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) MICHAEL ROWLUK June 29, 1939 March 16, 2008 Peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2008, at the age of 68 years, Bob was called home by his Creator. Bob was predeceased by his father John and father-in-law, Frank Hallemans. Remaining to forever cherish Bob's memory are his loving wife Jacqueline; children, Michael, Johnny, Colleen (Shane), Christopher (Dawn) and Matthew (Nicole); mother and step-father, Jen and Gordon Paull; brother John (Penny); sister, Judy; grandchildren, Brent, Amanda, Sarah, Jenna, Danielle and Abigail; mother-in-law, Lorna Hallemans; sisters-in-law, Joan (Floyd), Evelyn (Jim), Teresa (Ted); nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Ken), Lauren, Julie, Carla (Shayne), Erin (Jamie), Michael (Janice), Ken (Lisa), Christine (Kent); numerous great-nieces and nephews including, Timothy, Hannah and Emma who held a special place in his heart and his four legged companions Friss, Lily and Kalo. Bob was employed by the Manitoba Provincial Government at the Land Titles Office and retired after 43 years. He loved the outdoors and greatly anticipated his fall hunting getaway with his buddy Hunt . Being very artistic, he always had his eye open for art, antiques and the beautiful things in nature. Bob's yard was a testament to his love of plants and gardening. He was at peace with the world while tending to his wide assortments of plants. He never tired of showing and explaining the intricacies of his many prized perennials. Heaven got a lot more picturesque with Bob handling the landscaping duties. Above all, Bob loved his family. Many birthdays found Bob with a backyard full of family, Bob trying to BBQ, keep the kids out of the fish pond and flowers and maintain some type of order! But when the party was winding down, it was Do you have to all leave so soon? Now we are all left asking, Bob, why did you leave so soon we were just getting started? Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 20 at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 847 St. Mary's Road, with Rev. Fr. Renato Pasinato, presiding. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6 or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 0R3.
