Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) TOWARNICKI Peacefully, with his family by his side, William passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 84 years. William is survived by his wife Louise of 56 years of marriage; son Richard (Rose-Marie); brother-in-law James (Sabina) Kasian. He is predeceased by his daughter Sharon Towarnicki; his parents Michael and Lena; and brothers Walter and Marvin. Born on February 1, 1924 in Winnipeg. It was here he worked for the CPR (Weston Shops) as a carman for 42 years before retiring on September 11, 1984. William had an active retirement until his passing. He enjoyed travelling and reminiscing with his former coworkers. Throughout his 56 years of marriage William was a good husband and father. He will be sadly missed. In compliance with William's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Our family would like to thank Dr. Patel and the nurses on the fifth floor at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their exceptional care.

Dear Mrs. Towarnicki, Rick and Rose I had no idea Mr. Towarnicki passed away until I accidently came across the obit on line. I am sorry about the passing of your husband and father. It is so difficult to lose someone so special especially after losing Sharon as well. I often think of Sharon and wish she was here.
