ARTHUR (ART) MICHAUD May 24, 1932 March 12, 2008 Peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the age of 75 years, at St. Boniface Hospital, Art joined the angels above. Dad was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Emma Beaulieu. He left behind his beloved wife Doris; children Evan (Sara), Lorne, Connie (Mack) Licoppe, Linda (Mark) Doyan, and Diane, Gaetane Michaud. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters Erma Lagace, Liana, brothers; Armand and Camile Michaud; grandchildren Jennifer, Jesse, Sean, Jordan, Dylan, Alyssa, Karen, Bianca, and Joanne, and six great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff of 5B at the St. Boniface Hospital for the care and compassion they gave to Art while in their care. A celebration of Art's life will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the E.J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Art's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, P.O Box 12013 STN BRM B, Toronto, ON, M7Y 2L3.
