Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryODIS WATERS After a courageous battle with cancer, Odis Waters passed away at Health Sciences Centre on Friday, March 14, 2008 at the age of 62 with family by his side. Odis will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Peggy, his family in Hattiesburg, Mississippi including parents, Christene and Rufus Sr., sisters Annie Lois, Chris (Tony), Gloria, Jean, brother, Rufus Jr. (Carlene), grandchildren, Josh and Jeremy, numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and Mississippi. Odis was predeceased by his sons Stacey and Odis Jr., and his brother William Henry. Odis was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on August 16, 1945. He moved to Winnipeg in 1972 where he met Peggy. Odis was a long haul truck driver for many years. At Odis' request, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal service. For anyone wishing to pay respects to Odis, a gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2008. For more information please call the family.
