THOMAS HARGREAVES It is with great sadness that we, the Hargreaves family announce the passing of Thomas, on Monday, March 24, 2008 at the Grace Hospital. Thomas was the beloved husband to Nadia and father to Vera-Lynn Fisher (Danny) and son Randy, also sister-in-law Vera Marlais. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Mary and George, daughter Nena-Mary, sister Gladys Warren and brother John who was killed in Hong Kong during the Second World War. Thomas served with the Royal Canadian Signal Corps for four years in England. On his return, he worked for the Liquor Control Commission for 32 years. He was a very avid Veterans English Billiards player and taking on the task of being secretary treasurer for 27 years. Thomas' family was his first priority and he will be greatly missed. He and Nadia had been married for 55 years. Thomas resided at Deer Lodge Centre for almost two years and received excellent health care there. Many, many thanks to the wonderful and caring Angels on Tower 7. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 27 at Kirkfield Park United Church, 472 Kirkfield Street. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
