CATHERINE ANNE TERECK November 10, 1952 - March 23, 2008 Unexpectedly, Cathy left us on Sunday, March 23, 2008. Cathy will be dearly missed by her adoring family: Parents, Peter and Amelia Tereck; Children, Corinne (Kevin) and Larry, Sister Jeanne, Brothers, Ken (Jackie), Ron (Eva), Jerry (Tammy), and Robert (Denise), Grandson Carter, and many nieces and nephews. Cathy was a passionate animal lover, and channeled that love into her beautiful artwork throughout her lifetime. She was an amateur veterinarian who rescued countless wild animals, and nursed as many family pets back to health over the years. She was an avid reader; full of a wisdom and understanding that benefited all that knew her. Her departure will be a loss to us all. She was predeceased by Ollie and Peter (Wayne) Hendricks, her aunt and uncle whom she adored. Also a thank you to Lois for all your friendship you gave to Cathy during her difficult time. In keeping with Cathy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2008 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue, 3062 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3K 0Y1. Rest in Peace, Cathy. We will forever love and miss you. . .
