CLARA ABRAM May 1, 1921 - March 27, 2008 In loving memory and heavy hearts we are sad to announce the passing of Clara, at the age of 86, at the Manorcare Nursing Home in Hinsdale, Illinois, U.S.A. Clara was born in Rosenfeld, Manitoba, to parents Helen and Anton Pluchinske (both deceased). She was predeceased by her husband James, sister Pat and brothers Ervin, Ernie and Walter. Remaining to cherish her memory forever are her sons Frank (Sharon) and Lawrence, and grandchildren Arthur, Gwendolyn, James, Jason and Samantha, and sisters Irene (Gary), Linda (David) and Violet (Randy) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Clara moved to Winnipeg in 1939 and married James in 1957. In 1960 they moved to Chicago, Illinois, and raised their family there. After being widowed in 1986 she stayed in the Chicagoland area to care for her family but stayed in touch with her loved ones back home. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manorcare for the care they provided to Clara. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Winnipeg (Aubrey Street entrance). Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
