FRANCESCO COLOSIMO It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our father, husband, brother, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. Dad, you have left our world to be in eternal peace and happiness with our Lord. Francesco Cicco Colosimo passed away peacefully in his home on March 31, 2008 at the age of 82. Left to cherish his memory are; his wife Angela of 62 years; children Letizia (Antonio), Maria (Riccardo), and Filippo (Adelheid); grandchildren Domenico (Angela), Gennaro, Amalia (James), Roberto (Andrea), Francesco (Shauna), Jason (Tara), Timothy, Jordon; great- grandchildren Antonio, Dante, Maria, and Riccardo; brother Domenico (Maria); sisters Concetta (Angelo), Maria, and Rosaria; and many relatives in Italy, Canada, and the United States. He is predeceased by brothers Silvio and Giuseppe and sister Rosina. Francesco was born in San Mango D'Aquino, Catanzaro, Italy, on April 5, 1925, where he lived until November 8, 1966. Together with his wife and children, they started a new life in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he has lived ever since. Francesco was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a devoted husband. He was always a true gentleman with his family and friends and he will be missed by all who knew him. Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano Presiding at the Eucharist. Entombment to follow in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. Pallbearers will be Domenico Pellegrino, Gennaro Pellegrino, Roberto Montanino, Francesco Colosimo, Jason Colosimo, Timothy Colosimo, Jordon Colosimo, and James McBurney.
