SCHULTZ Peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2008, at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, Richard Schultz passed away at the age 74 years with his family at his side. Richard was born in Winnipeg, son of the late David and Katherine Schultz. He grew up on the farm at Petersfield, Manitoba, where he received his education. As a young man he began employment in Winnipeg at a service station on McGregor Ave. where he was employed for a number of years. Richard then started work at the Seven Oaks School Division, first as a custodian and then as bus driver. After 26 years of service he retired in 1992. Richard loved to take his family camping and fishing and he enjoyed helping out on the farm at Chatfield. He was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 30 West Kildonan, where he had many close friends. Left to mourn his passing are three sons Rick, Terry (Pam) and Paul (Darlene) and one daughter Leanne (Rob), grandchildren Tina Brennan (Derek), Kris Schultz, Catlin Schultz, Erin Schultz, Tiffany Schultz, Randy Schultz, Devon Schultz (Desiree), and Jessica Schultz; great-grandchildren, Desyre Brennan and Haylen Schultz, one sister-in-law Marie Schultz as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard was predeceased by one daughter-in-law Adele Schultz and two brothers, David and Leonard. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion, West Kildonan Branch No. 30, 1748 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations to the Legion Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to: Ronald Moffit Memorial Services 856-3487
