ROSE KOMAR (nee CHERNIAK) September 25, 1916 April 1, 2008 At the end of a beautiful sunny day, late into the evening, on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, Rose Komar of Winnipeg Beach, passed away at the Betel Home in Gimli at the age of 91 years. Remaining to forever cherish Rose's memory is her daughter Margaret. Rose was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1999, mother Eva in 1968 and father Karol in 1982. She is survived by a brother Joe Cherniak of Selkirk, sisters Mae Gudmundson of Winnipeg, Anastasia McDonald of Etobicoke, Ontario, Jean Maksymyk of Winnipeg and brother Julian Cherniak of Winnipeg, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at the Winnipeg Beach Community Cemetery at a later date. Thank you to the staff at the Gimli Betel Home for their care over the past few months, and especially to Fiola for her extra attention and kindness. A very special thank you to Aunt Mae, Arlene and Delores for their continued love and support. In the arms of an Angel May you find some comfort there.
