MURRAY H. NEILL
Date of Passing: Apr 02, 2008
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURRAY H. NEILL It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and Grandpa, Murray H. Neill on April 2, 2008. Murray left peacefully surrounded by his family at the Concordia Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Joan (nee Taylor), children Brian (Shauna) Neill, Susan (Tony) Perri, and Cheryl (Wes) Hamilton. Some of Murray's proudest moments were those spent with his seven grandchildren, Liam and Mackenzie, Jordana and Taylor, and Kendra, Caitlyn and Daniel. Murray was a long time Hudson Bay Company associate prior to his retirement in 2004 after 47 years of service. His time with the Bay provided him many opportunities and experiences that he fondly reminisced about with friends and family. After retirement Murray began his new project the cabin at Madge Lake where his family had spent numerous summer vacations. Many of our friends will fondly remember Murray's Home Depot tool department and helping out with the never ending To do lists . Murray's Grandchildren created many happy memories going out early fishing with Grandpa which will be kept dear in their hearts forever. Cremation has already taken and place and at Murray's request there will be no funeral service. Instead the family will be having a celebration of Murray's life this summer at the cabin when we can all be together again. You always did your best. Your heart was true and tender. You lived your life for those you loved and those you loved will always remember. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Concordia Foundation in Murray Neill's honour in appreciation for all their compassion in Murray's final days.
