FREDERICK MICHAEL (MIKE) DAVIS On Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the age of 58 years Mike passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Mike is survived by his wife of 35 years, Adeline and their three children, Emery, Tiara (Jeff) and Amanda; grandchildren, Joshua, Alina, Taelor and Adrian; as well as his brothers, Teddy, Ian, Robert and Christopher and his sisters, Allison, Jenny and numerous family members. He was predeceased by his father Emery (Hop) Davis, mother Alice Nichols and brother John Davis. Adeline and Mike had just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. His grandchildren were the lights of his eye, as was his cat, Buster. Mike lived a life filled with fun and adventure. He loved music and knew the words to every song you can imagine. Mike made us all laugh with his funny faces, glorified stories and games he would play with his grand-children and anyone else who would come to his home (the ash' game; stinky train; pull my finger). If you were hungry (or if you weren't) Mike would feed you. If you needed a job, he found you one. Mike loved to work, recently he had just stopped working in fibreglassing but never stopped training any of his coworkers and son-in-law who would stop by for a visit. In compliance with Mike's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Seven Oaks. After all we've been through, you shine like the sun to us. After all the words you left unsaid, after all the things we laid to rest, after all this time we've finished this plight and after all this time you're finally alright. Goodbye old man.
