Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAMUEL TWUMASI ANKRAH (KOFI) Samuel Kofi Ankrah passed away peacefully, at Riverview Hospital in Winnipeg on Wednesday April 2, 2008 at the age of 58 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 29 years Rose, and three children; Shirley, Denis and Tracy. Samuel was born on September 14, 1949 in Mouso, Eastern Region in Ghana, Africa. He grew up with 3 sisters and was a devoted family man. Samuel immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1970, he worked as an ink technician at Sun Chemicals for 25 years. Samuel was a zealous man, who loved music, family, friends and his business ventures. He suffered sickness from a stroke over the past three and a half years. When most people would have given up on life, Sam fought to the very end. He fought a good strong fight. Viewing will be held between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral Service will be held also at the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 12, with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Ankrah Family, would like to thank all the Home Care Staff that helped us take very good care of Samuel. Especially to Sue his case coordinator, Paul and Dave.
