MARTIN STUART ORVIS 1947 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing, on Monday, April 7, 2008 of Martin Orvis, aged 60 years. He is survived by his wife Carol, children Ryan (Melanie), Devon (Wynter), Deanna (Shawn), step-daughter Cassandra (Rory) and grandchildren Cooper, Brady, Jordyn, Ashlyn, Maddison, Bryce and David, his brother Courtland (Amelia), sisters Sharron (Leslie) and Sherree, also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Martin was born in Selkirk, MB and raised on Matheson Island until he moved back to Selkirk where he eventually graduated from Psychiatric Nursing. He later moved to Lac du Bonnet and then to Great Falls where he raised his family and pursued his career. Martin retired as a Mental Health Manager for the Northeastman Region in 2002 after 36 years of service. He spent the remainder of his years enjoying his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Great Falls Community Centre.
