ABRAHAM (ABE) MARTENS With his family at his side, Abe passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008. Abe was predeceased by his wife Doris in 1988. He is lovingly remembered by his son Robert (Audrey), companion Stella Sidlowich and her family. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and friends. Abe was born in Russia on March 31, 1924 and immigrated to Canada at a young age. He was a Real Estate Broker for over 40 years in Winnipeg as owner of Martens Realty. Abe loved to take road trips with Stella and enjoyed his time spent with family and friends over coffee. The family wishes to thank the doctors and the caring nursing staff on the fifth floor of the Grace Hospital. As per Abe's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with reception to follow.
