JEANNE GEORGETTE DELAFONTAINE December 26, 1920 - April 6, 2008 Peacefully, at the Tache Centre, Mom passed into spirit and the arms of Jesus the Christ. She was predeceased by her loving parents Charles and Elvire Dufaut. One of four children born near Ste Rose Du Lac, MB. Mom later moved to Winnipeg, where she lived most of her life. She was predeceased by her brother Louis Dufaut and grandson Ronald. Surviving is her sister-in-law Bernice Dufaut and grandchildren Lorraine, (Lori), Leonard and Paulette. Her sister Marthe Medlicott (Mel) has also predeceased her. One brother Robert (Bob) Dufaut (Adina) and grandson Rene remain. She will be dearly missed by her five daughters, Madeleine (Alberto) Oliveira and granddaughter Michelle, daughter Cecile Nykoluk (Jack Crowe), grandchildren Deborah, Christina, Timothy, Deanna, Madeleine, daughter Georgette (Colin) Ivory and grand-children Scott, Justin, Leah, daughter Denise Harrison and grandchildren James, Ryan, Kristin, daughter Darlene (Kurt) Funk and granddaughters Jaclyn and Brittany. She is further blessed with great and great-great-grandchildren. Our Family sincerely thanks the staff and Dr. Mehta of the Taché Centre. We remember especially all of Carmel's Angels who posed as nurses and aides on 4DE, bless you all for your love and care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. Let the beauty of your joy, show forth in the light and love as shown in the Christ-Spirit, make for a new song in your heart.
