MAY ELLIOT May Elliot, beloved wife and mother, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at her residence in Morris. She is survived by her husband Melvin, and her son Mark of Winnipeg; her sister Mrs. Kay Anderson and niece Karen of Oak Lake; sister-in-law Rita Elliot of Morris; niece Marlene (Bill) Wetherby and Steven; niece Lori Thompson and son Chad; niece Noreen LeBlanc and children Jeannette and Jason; niece Melody (Fred) Plummer and children Ryan and Rachelle; as well as cousins in Devon, England. Born on November 7, 1925 at Two Creeks, MB, May did her nurses training in Brandon and came to the Morris Hospital in 1948. She met Melvin, and they were married in 1950. They lived in McTavish until moving to the Morris Manor about five years ago. May practiced her nursing for over forty years at the hospital. She enjoyed being part of the community and assisting wherever possible. There will be viewing at Morris Funeral Home Friday, April 11, 2008 (today) from 7:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church in Morris on Saturday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m., with interment in the Morris Cemetery.
