Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN ALEXANDRINA ANDERSON (nee TAYLOR) Helen Anderson passed away peacefully at the Deer Lodge Centre on Friday, April 11, 2008, at the age of 83. She leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, Tom (Barbara), Russell (Anne); three grandchildren, Chad (Gwen), Brandie Norris (Jeff), Jay (Benita); four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kaleb, Liam and Julia; brother Harry (Irene) Taylor of Sydney, BC, nieces and nephews, and life-long friends, Della and Norman Morris. She was predeceased by her husband Norman; an infant daughter Barbara Jean; her parents Alexander and Annie Taylor; brothers, Tommy, Alex, Joe and sister Margaret. Helen was born in Scotland on October 9, 1924, and came to Canada as an infant and lived in Winnipeg until her demise. She had worked at the Deer Lodge Hospital until her husband Norman returned from his Second World War duty in France. She spent her life raising her family and being a wife and homemaker. Helen loved spending her summers at their cottage at Grand Beach, or on one of their many camping trips. She and her husband Norman, loved to travel. They visited Hawaii and Scotland several times and went on numerous cruises. Our sincere thanks to the staff on 7W of Deer Lodge Personal Care who helped us care for our Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A private family funeral and interment will be held.
