EUGENIO MANUEL SILVA Suddenly on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 Eugenio Silva, age 55 years, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Remaining to cherish Silva's memory are his wife Maria of 32 years, daughters Catarina and Lucia, his mother Catarina Teles; his uncle and godfather Jose Medeiros of Fall River, Massachusetts; his extended family and many friends. Eugenio will be remembered for his sense of humour, and his open honest style of communication. He was a car enthusiast, enjoying car shows and magazines. After serving as a communications officer with the Portuguese army in Angola he came to Canada in 1980 where he worked in road construction. Vigil prayers 3:00 p.m. April 13, 2008 at Blessed John XXIII. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2008 at Blessed John XXIII 3390 Portage Ave., with Monsignor Maurice Comeault officiating.
