MARGARET FRIEDA WERSCH (nee EXNER) March 15, 1924 - April 9, 2008 Peacefully on April 9, 2008 after a long illness, Margaret Wersch, aged 84, passed into God's loving hands from her home of many years, Calvary Place. She joins her deceased parents, Ralph and Millie Exner, her son Douglas Wersch, the father of her children, Robert Wersch, and daughter-in-law, Wendy Wersch. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Gerry (Susan), daughter Cheryl Cottle (John), and her grandchildren Courtney (Claude), Alison (James), Derek and Shannon. She also leaves her sister, Eleanor, and her husband Lloyd Wersch and their children Ken (Karen), Marilyn (Jack), and Dave (Elaine). Mom and her family would like to thank the nurses and all the staff of Calvary Place for the many years of care and love that she received while living there. No words can express the comfort her family felt knowing that she was well cared for. Her caregivers at Calvary Place became her extended family. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 1325 Erin St., Winnipeg MB, R3E 3R6. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba - Unit 10, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2, or Calvary Place. You will always be in our hearts.
