Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONIA CARDINAL October 14, 1919 - March 27, 2008 With great sadness and loss we announce the passing of our Dear and Loving Mother, Antonia Cardinal, who passed away with her heartfelt departing words of Her Love, Prayers and Thank you to all the people who knew her and touched her life. She held a special place within her heart for All. Antonia will be lovingly and deeply missed by her six children, Lynne (Jack), Robert, Brian (Brenda), Noel (Tom), Lori (Sheldon) and Kim; sister Olga; brother Eugene; 12 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Antonia was predeceased by her loving husband Albert (Bob) Cardinal on January 5, 1964. Antonia's devotion to her deep faith and love of family was shown in her gentle caring ways, tremendous courage, her heart warming smile, great love of children - especially her six precious children, and the many people whose lives were touched by her presence - an attentive and empathetic ear, the depth of the sound of her heartfelt and inspirational words, the touch of her caressing hands - one felt a peacefulness and love in her midst. Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg. A Mass and celebration of Antonia's life will take place on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave. Reception to follow at St. Vital Catholic Church. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Maurice School, 1639 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 2G6.
