JOHN PAUL JACK It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the River Park Gardens. Jack Paul passed away at the age of 91 years. Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife Maude in 2005; brother Bill; sisters, Amy and Elsie. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Gayle (Gary) Chorney, Laurie (Florence) (Harold) Forsyth; grandchildren: Tracey (John), Geoff, Jennifer, Rick (Tracy), Kimberley; great-grandsons: Darnell and Dylan; sister Edna Burr. Jack was born in Winnipeg and started a market gardening business with his brother Bill called Paul's Greenhouses . He served as a Sergeant in the Second World War with the Winnipeg Rifles Little Black Devils . He resumed marketing when he was discharged from the army. He married Maude in 1943 and enjoyed 62 years of marriage. They vacationed the winter months in Hawaii for 17 years. He loved his golf and curling. He curled at the Wildwood Seniors. He retired in 1976 and continued to help his nephew Gary in the greenhouses until his health prevented him. In accordance with Jack's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Jack. The family wish to thank the staff at River Park Gardens for all their help and support.
