Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN HOWE (GRAVIE) Lillian Howe of Neudorf, SK passed away December 26, 2007 at the age of 70 years. Services were held in Melville, SK December 31, 2007. Lillian is survived by her husband Robert Howe; son Scott Howe and wife Sharon (Edenwold, SK), daughter Kelly Anderson and partner Gerald Mushie (Souris MB), son Dustin Howe (Neudorf), grandsons Chad Anderson, Derek, Cale and Hazen Howe; granddaughters Stevie Howe and Brea Anderson; sisters Colleen Ervick (husband Glen (Winnipeg) and Karen Glaicar (Winnipeg) and brother Edward Garvie (partner Bernice) of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Barbara Baird (Burlington, ON) and brother-in-law Fredrick Howe and wife Kathryn of Winnipeg. Numerous nieces and nephews and her extended family in AlAnon and A.A. Lillian was predeceased by her parents John and Dorothy Garvie; in-laws Fred and Violet Howe and a sister, Marlene Kullman. Lillian grew up in East St. Paul and following graduation in 1955, was employed in Winnipeg, by Canadian Consolidated Grain, The Canadian Wheat Board, Hudson Bay House and The City of Wpg., (Metro Corporation). She married Robert on October 11, 1955. Lillian left Winnipeg, and resided in Dauphin MB in 1968. From 1969 to 1974 she resided in Brandon. During this period she was a housewife and foster Mom to many needy children. In 1974 she moved to The Pas, MB worked in purchasing at the pulp and paper mill and also for Kelsey School Division as a teacher's assistant. From 1990 to 2001 Lillian resided in Kenora, ON, working as a teacher's assistant with Special Needs children. Following retirement, Lillian and Robert moved to Neudorf, SK. A memorial Service will be held at St. Stephens Anglican Church (where she was married) on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., 220 Helmsdale Ave., Winnipeg, with a reception to follow in the church hall. No flowers please, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society. She lived her life in such a way that if someone said something bad about her, no one would believe it.
