WILMA ARCHER (nee SHAND) February 8, 1931 April 11, 2008 Peacefully on April 11, 2008 Wilma passed away at the Beausejour Hospital at the age of 77. Wilma leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 56 years Lawrence (Lorne) and children, Ray (Cyndi), Pat (Brenda), Val (Rick), along with nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Wilma was born in February 8, 1931 in Dauphin, MB. Wilma married the love of her life Lorne on June 15, 1951 in Dauphin. Wilma and Lorne Journeyed the province (Dauphin, Brandon, Neepawa, St. Pierre and Beausejour) pursuing Lorne's career with Manitoba Hydro settling in Beausejour. Wilma will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, also an active member of the United Church Women. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church located at 730 James Ave. in Beausejour, Manitoba.
