DIOSDADO (BOC) LOPEZ It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Diosdado Boc Lopez at the age of 56 on April 11, 2008. Diosdado is survived by his beloved wife Agnes; his children Michael and Melissa; mother Ambrosia; brothers and sisters Edward, Carmelita, and Purification; brother-in-law Abelardo (Irene); sister-in-laws Norma (Bobby) and Gloria as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Jesus Barrera Lopez. Diosdado was born January 21, 1952 in Santa Maria, Pampanga, Philippines and moved to Canada to be with his wife in July of 1976. Since being in Canada, Diosdado was employed at Westeel Roscoe, and Coldstream as an assembler. He was a dedicated and hard worker not only at his job, but with his family and household as well. He enjoyed fishing and camping when it came to the outdoors, and he also enjoyed the countless hours playing mah-jong and singing karaoke with his wife and friends. Diosdado was a husband, a son, a father, a brother, an uncle, and a friend to many. He will be sadly missed. Viewing and prayers will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will also be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. A special thank you goes out to all the Health Sciences Centre emergency staff.
