BERNICE WOLFE Mrs. Bernice Wolfe of Winnipeg and formerly of Regina passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the age of 79 years at Grace Hospital. She was predeceased by the love of her life, husband Lloyd Wolfe in 1976. She was also predeceased by her brother Bill Gaetz and sister Margaret Yanitski. Bernice's memory will be forever cherished by her daughters, Patricia Wolfe, Debbie Wolfe and son-in-law Kelvin Shepherd. She is also survived by brothers, Eugene (Evelyn) Gaetz, Leonard (Shirley) Gaetz, Frank (Pat) Gaetz; sisters, Victoria Wilebski, Verna Kozak, Rose (Edward) Olsonoski, Sally Fishbook, Florence Cesmistruk; sister-in-law Pauline Gaetz; brother-in-law Tyson (Doreen) Wolfe and numerous family members and friends. She will be especially missed by her beloved grand-puppy Lucy. Mom was a loving and caring person with a wonderful sense of humour. She loved nothing more than spending time with her kids. She had tremendous energy and vitality until heart disease robbed her of her health. We have lost a mother, best friend and confidant but knowing her suffering has ended will help ease our pain. A Memorial Service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg on Wednesday, April 16 at 3:00 p.m. Interment at Regina Riverside Memorial Gardens will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernice's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, #200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6 or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3. We would like to thank our family doctor Dr. Eng for his support throughout mom's illness, and the staff of Grace Hospital for the care and kindness given to mom.
