KATHLEEN LYNNE SKELLY (nee DALTON) While enjoying a happy moment, Lynne passed away on April 12, 2008, at the age of 70 with her husband of nearly 50 years by her side. Lynne is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence, son Robert (Maire) and grandson Keenan of Vancouver, grandson Dean Hosking of Winnipeg, brother Lloyd (Joyce) Dalton of Kelowna, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Diane Hosking, her parents Bill and Bernice Dalton and her sister Carole (Billie) Dalton all of Winnipeg. Lynne was a member of the St. James Legion #4 where she enjoyed the comradeship and was an avid dart player, also she was a longtime member of the Order Of The Eastern Star (St. James Chapter #25) having held the offices of Esther and Marshall. Lynne will be greatly missed by her many friends and especially her Cocker Spaniel baby, Chloe. The family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Grace Hospital Emergency Department and Winnipeg Paramedics for their kindness and compassion, also to Connie of the Home Care Services. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Salvation Army or the Canadian Cancer Society in Lynne's name. The service will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave., Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. Lt. Col. Maxwell Ryan of the Salvation Army will officiate and a reception will follow at the St. James Legion #4. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
