LESLIE NORMAN FRANKS August 9, 1924 - April 12, 2008 On Saturday, April 12, 2008 Leslie Franks beloved husband of Muriel Franks passed away at the age of 83. He is survived by his children Don, Jeff and James, daughter-in-law Laurel, Joan Ashdown and Angela Lamberg and nine grandchildren, Lisa, Steven, Madeline, Dylan, Garcia, Damien, Raelynn, Nick and Alyssa. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at South Side Memorial Chapel, Edmonton, Alberta on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. A veteran of the Second World War, Les will be fondly remembered for his kindness and devotion to family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
