CLAUS GERHARD KOKE Peacefully, on Monday, April 14, 2008, surrounded by his loving family, Claus Gerhard Koke passed away at the age of 81 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years, Regina (Mielke); his son Bruce and wife Lori; daughter Claudia and husband Fred; grandchildren Corey, Aundrea and Graham. Claus was born in Germany in 1926 and immigrated to Canada with his bride in 1953. Dad worked with the City of Winnipeg Planning Division for 15 years before starting CK Subdivision Planning Services Ltd. in 1973. After his retirement our family spent many happy summers at the cottage and mom and dad spent their winters in Florida. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Dad's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, ON 109-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, R3E 0Z2.
