JOAN (NORA) MCCLURE (nee PEARSON) It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, April 14, 2008 at the tender age of 70 years in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She will be sadly missed and always cherished by her loving husband of 54 years, Ralph McClure as well as by her four daughters, Darlene, Cindy (Robert), Tammy (Tim), and Kelly (David), her sister Helen Pardon (George), brother Lloyd Laliberte (Theresa), sister-in-law Margaret McClure and brother-in-law Jack Reed. She has also left to mourn 12 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, as well as her extended adopted family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents George and Nellie Pearson, sister Lasca Reed, her aunt Edith Redman, brothers-in-law William McClure and Walter McClure, and by her beloved and only son Danny McClure. Mom had a zest for life and a spirit that never quit. She always had an open door, an open heart and a genuine love for everyone. Mom's dedication to her family and friends was always strong, even in her last hours her concern was everyone else. God bless you mom, rest in peace. We would like to extend a special thank you to all who have been supportive and loved mom. We would like to thank the staff of Concordia Hospital third floor, Dr. Harris from the Oncology department, and the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Home with interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens on Main Street.
