DANIEL A. J. LABOSSIERE Daniel of Winnipeg, Manitoba, age 53, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with esophageal cancer on April 15, 2008 at 2:45 a.m. with his son Richard by his side. Survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Georgette; children, Robert, Richard (Joaline), and Nicole (Michael); grandchildren, Garrett, Charisma, Anthony, and Hillary; father Andre; siblings, Collette (Mike), Norma (David), Lynne (Paul), Marc, Joanne (Mario), Pierre (Christine), and Yvette; in-laws, Michelle, Richard (Heather), Marie (Pete), Maurice (Noelle), Pete (Olga), Gerry, Marc (Blanche), Lucie, Monique (Luc), Deborah (Fred), Jean (Georgina), Gisele (Eugene), Christine (Rob); and many nieces, nephews and their children. Predeceased by his mother Gilberte; brother Bob; sister in-law Claire; parent in-laws Roland and Lorraine Lavergne. Dan was born at St. Boniface Hospital June 5, 1954. Even at an early age he developed a strong bond with his brother Bob. As Bob wandered out to western Canada Dan was never far behind with his family in tow. As the years passed their bond grew, they not only looked alike but acted alike as well. Soon they were known as Book ends supporting one another each step of the way in life and in death, passing away only a few short months apart. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 19, 2008 11:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Cancer Care Manitoba, Attention: Palliative Care Unit.
