JOHANNES EINAR SIGVALDASON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Einar Sigvaldason, aged 78 years, formerly of Arborg and Lockport, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Beausejour District Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Alda, and their children, son Dwain Sigvaldason of Winnipeg, daughters, Laura (Cecil) Swain of Beausejour, and Francine (Rick) Warkentin of Lockport. Also left to cherish the memory of their Afi are his grandchildren, Daanis, Michael and Laurissa, Brittany and Brooke along with their father and family friend Gary Christiansen. At his request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Gilbart Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 2:00 pm. with Pastor Ron Vert officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arborg and District Multicultural Heritage Village, Box 4007, Arborg, MB ROC OAO. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at Grace General Hospital, Health Sciences Center and especially Beausejour District Hospital for their loving care.
