Mom enjoyed making a special home for her family. She loved to sew and with that love came an involvement in the Argyle 4-H club where she was head leader for 15 years. Mom was actively involved in the Argyle United Church, the U.C.W. and Argyle Women's Hall Board as well as the Argyle Cemetery Committee to name a few. She loved her home on the farm and was determined to stay there after Dad passed away and succeeded in doing so until her passing. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall, Manitoba at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call on Friday between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be Alex Lloyd, Reid Lloyd, Bob Colonval, Bill Nunn, Graham Nunn and Donald Campbell. We would like to give our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit on the second floor of St. Boniface Hospital for their excellent care for Mom throughout her time there and whose compassion to us all was unending. It takes special people to work in this department. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Argyle Cemetery Fund. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
